DONT LET YOUR PREPAID NUMBER BEING DEACTIVATED! ♥

My friends those who are studying overseas, this summer holiday most of them are in Malaysia. But I saw they were complaining about their prepaid number, which has been deactivated. While they were abroad, they didn't use Malaysia's number. So when they are already in Malaysia, they realized that their number has been deactivated. Pity them. Most of us didn't know about this. We need to alert about  “Active Period”, “Expiry Date”, “Credit Grace Period” and “Start Date”. For those who are staying in Malaysia, maybe they don't know about this though, but it wouldn't be any problem as they keep using and keep reloading when they want to use. So their number will still active. Here I want to share the termination period for prepaid number. What I have found is for hotlink prepaid, but I think the same thing goes to celcom and other telcos. Lets see the term and condition for hotlink. I'm highlighting on the important thing related to this entry, but if you want to know more about another terms and conditions, you may go HERE.

No. 4
No. 24

&& here there is another thing I found about the life cycle.

If you don't understand, I'm going to explain here. Let's say you have reloaded RM10 and it valid for 7 days, so within that 7 days, it is the Active Period (green area). Maybe you used RM3 and you still have RM7 balance right? Then 30 days after that 7 days, it is Deactive with Balance(yellow area); means you cannot make outgoing call or sms even your balance, RM7 is still there, but you still can receive ongoing call and sms. When the Deactive with balance period ends, your balance forfeited.  Now your balance is RM0, you cannot make outgoing call or sms but you still can receive call and sms for 60 days during Deactive without Balance period (red area). These 90 days are in Grace Period (yellow and red area); means you just can receive call and sms only, but cannot make outgoing calls or people always say TAK ADA KREDIT or KREDIT EXPIRED. After that, if you still haven't reloaded yet, service cancellation. Once your number has been cancelled, it is hard to get that number back. But if you are lucky, maybe that number is available for postpaid, so you can buy that package and then convert to prepaid back. Depends on your luck! So clear with that? Just imagine if you are already been abroad for more than 5 months without reloading your number, so obviously SERVICE CANCELLATION! Someone else will be using that number or is using that number!

So my advice here, if you go overseas for few months and don't want to use your Malaysia's number there, but want to use the same number once you get back to your hometown, try to reload at least RM5 every 2 months. Remember, if you love your number, don't be such that greedy to reload that number even it just RM5 ok? Same thing for those who are living in Malaysia, let's say you are using two numbers, maybe one of it you just use to receive calls, so you don't want to reload, it also will be deactivated if you didn't reload within few months. EVEN IF YOU ARE USING HOTLINK YOUTH CLUB OR CELCOM UOX OR SOX. That is their term and condition also known as their trick! HAHA.
